Water Valley Lodge is located in Choctaw County, Alabama. Choctaw County is in Southwest Alabama, located 100 miles North of Mobile, AL; 100 miles Southwest of Tuscaloosa, AL; 35 miles East of Meridian Mississippi. Water Valley Lodge is located in the well-known black belt deer habitat.

Directions to Water Valley Lodge

from Atlanta, Georgia

Take I-20/I-59 South/West through Birmingham and Tuscaloosa to Exit 8 – York, Alabama.

Take a left on Hwy 17. Head south until you get to Gilbertown, AL.

In Gilbertown, take a right on CR 14 (Melvin Road).

The lodge is located 3 miles out on the right.

Directions to Water Valley Lodge

from Mobile, Alabama

Take I-65 North to Exit 19.

Take Hwy43 North to Hwy 56 West (in Wagerville).

Take Hwy 56 West to Chatom where 56 runs into Hwy 17 North.

Take Hwy 17 North to Gilbertown.

In Gilbertown, turn left on CR 14.

The lodge is located 3 miles out on the right.

Directions to Water Valley Lodge

from Meridian, Mississippi

Take Hwy 19 East towards Butler, Alabama.

Hwy 19 becomes Hwy 10 once you cross over the state line.

In Butler, turn right (south) on Hwy 17.

Take Hwy 17 South to Gilbertown.

In Gilbertown, turn right on CR 14.

The lodge is located 3 miles out on the right.
